Have you ever wished to change your website content based on the location of your visitors? Or, perhaps customize the backend admin panel according to your specific needs?
The new WPCode Location addon enables you to geo-target visitors. WPCode v2.1.13 makes it easier modify the admin Dashboard, and adjust the Editor height right from the snippet area.
Let’s dive deeper into the details so you can learn how this update benefits you!
Introducing Location-Based Conditional Logics
You can now provide a personalized experience to your visitors based on their location. For instance, if you run an eCommerce business or any dynamic website, you can revolutionize your engagement with your international audience.
Using the 2 new location-based conditional logic rule types, you can now display or hide snippets based on the user’s country or continent.
Imagine offering free shipping to your shoppers in Spain, displaying a VAT notice for European visitors, or promoting exclusive discounts to US-based users.
To access this feature, create a new or open an existing snippet. Then, navigate to the Smart Conditional Logic section and activate Enable Logic. Now, choose whether you want to Show or Hide the snippet. Finally, click “Add new group” to add Conditions. Then, from the dropdown menu, select Locations: country or continent.
Now, you should see a modal popup asking you to install the WPCode Location Addon. Click on “Activate Addon” to start using geo-targeting! The Location addon is exclusive to Pro and Elite users only.
When the installation is successful, you can show or hide this snippet in multiple countries or continents. For example, you can change your product’s shipping charge based on the user’s country.
Please note: The location logic works perfectly on not cached pages, such as the checkout page.
2 New Auto-Insert Locations For Admin Area
You can now bring your creativity to your website’s backend admin panel. With the 2 new auto-insert locations, you can add CSS, JavaScript, or any type of snippets right into the admin area, making your backend Dashboard more versatile and beautiful.
Admin Header: Your customization doesn’t have to stop at your public-facing pages. The Admin Header location allows you to change the look, add new functionalities, and tailor the admin area according to your needs.
Admin Footer: You can expand your site’s feature with the Admin Footer location as well. For example, you can make sure that less critical processes start after loading the main content, enhancing usability without sacrificing functionality.
Elevated Coding Experience
You have always been able to adjust the Editor height in WPCode by going to the Settings page. But now, we have made it more convenient for you so that you can do this right from the snippet Editor. Adjust the coding area simply by dragging your cursor, and your preferred height will save automatically. Whenever you open a new snippet, you’ll notice the height is remembered to the last state.
We’ve also fixed accidental code loss due to recent browser updates. Now, you don’t have to worry about leaving your editor area without saving changes. Previously, if you left an editing session, you might not have been alerted about unsaved changes. WPCode will remind you and prevent the tab or browser from closing, ensuring you don’t lose any unsaved work.
Summing Up
WPCode v2.1.13 is all about personalized experiences for both website admins and visitors. Whether you want to increase user engagement, streamline backend processes, or protect your content creation, these new features are designed to give you more control over your website.
